1. David Haye has written a letter to the WBC to relinquish his WBC Cruiserweight Title and ask to be ranked by the WBC as a Heavyweight. Haye wants to pursue his dream of becoming Heavyweight Champion of the World.2. Ricky Hatton has come down with a chest infection and has halted his training camp. Hatton is supposed to fight Juan Lazcano on May 24. The sparring partners of Hatton have been sent home while Hatton rests. The fight against Lazcano has thus far not been scrapped. Hatton has said he has never pulled out of a fight before and has no intentions of starting.
3. Coming back Hall of Famer Azumah Nelson has stated Julio Cesar Chavez has approached him about a fight. Nelson, 49, originally turned it down because he was not training. However since Nelson is scheduled to fight fellow Hall of Famer Jeff Fenech,44, in June he may consider fighting Chavez. Nelson says if he defeats Fenech, he will then go for a fight with the 46 year old Chavez. Chavez has not fought since losing in 2006.

5. Zab Judah was supposed to have his stitches removed today. He wants to return to the ring in late June or early July.
6. Manny Pacquiao has finally arrived in Los Angeles to begin camp for his June 28 fight against David Diaz.
