Joel Casamayor and Juan Manuel Marquez pose for a picture with Oscar De La Hoya at a press conference to promote their September 13 Lightweight fight. The fight, titled "The Challenge" will air live on HBOPPV, but many including myself expect it to do horrible numbers. First of all it is not a big enough fight for PPV and the very next weekend, September 20, Roy Jones Jr and Joe Calzaghe will fight. Not to mention with gas as expensive as it is, nobody wants to pay $50 back to back weekends. However, this is an interesting fight because Marquez is moving up to Lightweight and challenging the Lineal Lightweight Champion in Casamayor. Casamayor is coming off his best performance in years, a KO of Michael Katsidis. Myself and many are hoping something happens to take this fight off of PPV and on to regular HBO. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
