David Haye made short work of Enzo Maccarinelli this evening. He connected on a couple of right hands to hurt Enzo. Once Haye got Maccarinelli in the corner and went to work to finish him. Maccarinelli dropped his hands to try and hold Haye and Haye connected with a hard right hand to put Maccarinelli down. Maccarinelli got to his feet but stumbled around the ring. The ref looked into his eyes and waved the fight off. David Haye added Maccarinelli's WBO title to his WBA and WBC Cruiserweight Titles. The fight ended at 2:04 of the 2nd round.

i watched this one and kept wondering "who are these two?" -- well?
i will say that haye is unorthodox but if he lands a shot, it will do damage.
Well the Cruiserweight division has not really been that popular. Many of them don't stay in that division long and move to different weight classes because of the lack of demand for it. However as of recently there have been some good fights in the division thanks to David Haye, Enzo Maccranelli, Jean Marc Mormeck, and Oneil Bell. These guys have put on some good fights and drawn some interest to the Cruiserweight division. Haye is now the Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion is going to make his run at the Heavyweight division. He fought there one but came down to win the title at Cruiserweight but always said he would return. Last night he made it clear he was going to Heavyweight to do like Evander Holyfield which is become Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion and then become Undisputed Heavyweight Champion. Only time will tell if he will fulfill that dream.
