Michael Spinks is a former Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion. He only had one professional loss in his career and that was to Mike Tyson via 1st Round KO. He has never fought again professionally. His nephew Cory Spinks is the fighter who lost last night. He is a former Undisputed Welterweight Champion and former IBF Junior Middleweight Champion. Leon Spinks, is Michael's brother and Cory's father. He beat Muhammad Ali to win the Heavyweight Championship. He is in the history books for being the quickest (in number of fights that is) to ever win the title. In his next fight, a rematch with Ali he lost the title. Leon Spinks partied and never trained properly, therefore underachieving greatly. All three are from St. Louis, but only Cory lives there today. I believe Michael Spinks lives in Maryland to be honest. If you want to know more just ask me.
Ok, first who's who in the photo? I forgot what they look like (besides DK). I am well aware of who Leon and Michale are to boxing history. I was watching around the time of their reign?? Anyhow, Leon, if I recall had no top teeth or a couple missing and always appeared straight ghetto. Michale I think was kinda laid back?!? Vague as it's been yeeeears. And thanks for the info as for who was Dad to Cory and all the other stuff (again) as well.
