The Cruiserweight Division is one of the most underrated divisions around. However this weekend David Haye (20-1, 19KOs) who is the WBA & WBC Cruiserweight Champion will be taking on Enzo Maccarinelli (28-1, 21KOs) who is the WBO Cruiserweight Champion. Enzo is trained by Enzo Calzaghe who is the father and trainer of Undisputed Super Middleweight Champion Joe Calzaghe. Haye who has fought at heavyweight a few times was going to move up to heavyweight permanently before signing to face Maccarinelli. This is a huge fight over in the UK because both of these guys are power punches. I have only seen David Haye when he KOd Jean Marc Mormeck to become champion. He has some serious power but I do worry about his stamina and how low he keeps his left hand. I have never seen Maccarinelli but I have heard he has great power and decent boxing skills. A lot of trash has been spoken between the two fighters and Saturday March 8, 2008 they will meet in the ring. The talking will be over and the fight will happen. Live on Showtime from London England in a fight titled Bombs Away you will see David Haye vs Enzo Maccarinelli in one of the biggest Cruiserweight fights ever. Don't miss it.
